About Me
|
 |
I received the B.E. degree in
Electronic Engineering and the M.S. degree in Applied Physics from Tsinghua
University, Beijing, China, in 1995 and 1998, respectively, and the Ph.D.
degree in Optics from the University of Rochester in 2004.
My Ph.D. research on "Photonic crystal fibers: characterization and supercontinuum generation"
was supervised by
Prof. Thomas G. Brown. Currently, I am a postdoctoral research associate under
the mentorship of Prof. Daniel J. Gauthier
at Duke University studying optical fiber-based slow-light
effects and applications. My current research interests are in the areas of guided-wave optics, nonlinear optics,
photonic crystal fibers, and photonic crystals.
