"All the fun of sitting still, being quiet, writing down numbers. Yes science has it all."
--Principal Skinner, The Simpsons.

Welcome to my home page. I am a postdoc with Bob Behringer in the Duke physics department working on experiments in granular materials. I completed my Ph.D. at Cornell in 2001 with Eberhard Bodenschatz, working on directional solidification experiments. You might quickly discover that everything here is under construction (despite the lack of some cute animated construction worker) -- so no guarantees that all my t's are crossed or all my links are connected. If something seems amiss though, please let me know! For more information on work and fun (which sometimes overlap, sometimes not as much), please head to the menu bar.
