Rolling the Wheel

\epsfbox{figures/hr51.2.1.2.eps}

A force $\vec{\bf F} = 48$ N to the right is applied to the frictionless axle of a wheel made of a uniform disk with mass $M = 4$ kg and radius $R = 10$ cm. It rolls without slipping on a rough table. Find:

a) the net acceleration of the wheel.

b) The minimum coefficient of static friction $\mu_s$ such that the wheel does not slip for this force.
