I work in the Physics Department at Duke University, in Dr. Robert Behringer's experimental nonlinear flow group.  Our group, a part of Duke's Center for Nonlinear and Complex Systems (CNCS), studies characteristics of driven and undriven granular systems as well as fluid flow in porous media.

My research interests: I am studying two-dimensional granular flows, in both driven and purely cooling systems.

I have also studied pattern formation in a Taylor-Couette system with spatial inhomogeneities.

My publications and presentations.
