PHY 342: Advanced Quantum Field Theory

Course Description

This is a graduate level quantum field theory course. Topics to be covered include: renormalization group, operator product expansion, nonabelian gauge theory, quantization of nonabelian gauge theory, spontaneously broken symmetries: Goldstone's Theorem and the Higgs mechanism, anomalies.
