presentation guidelines

1) presentations should last 10 - 12 minutes, leaving 3 additional minutes for questions

2) you can use

a) the document camera

b) your computer

c) the board

3) much more effort should be expended on the physics of what you did and how you did it
and
what the results are  and much less on the visual prettiness of the presentation

4) grades will be based on

a) organization and clarity of presentation
(will a typical student in this course understand what you did, how you did it, and the results?)

b) meatiness of project (from observations to data to results)

c) use of (prepared) visuals to convey what you did, how you did it, and results

5) a record of your project: a 3 - 5 page summary of what you did, how you did it, and results
(photocopies of originals are acceptable, and you can ask that I make photocopies for you)
