pretest for HOU workshop
participants: please try to take the pretest before July 23... thanks!

The curriculum books and an image processing software will be distributed at the workshop.
Lunches and refreshments are provided.
Please bring a notepaper and pen/pencil to the workshop.
We will try to supply tape, scissors, etc. if necessary.
You might also want to bring your computer to install the HOU software (on CD) at the workshop;
you can, of course, wait to install once you get back home.

Telescopes in Education
NASA sponsored program that allows schools to link with and remotely
control 14" reflector telescope (and eventually a 24" refractor telescope) at
Mt Wilson, CA.
Requires:  Internet Astronomy Client software from Software Bisque (about $199)
                Computer with Windows 95 or better
                Internet access without a firewall
                Phone connection to telescope operator
TIE membership is free.
Member schools can normally book two 2-hour blocks  of telescope time per month
