Hiking down into the valley of the kings. It was quite hot down there - supposedly 51 Deg. Celsius (125 Deg. Fahrenheit - for the Americans), but then again Egyptians tell you a lot of things. The wall paintings in these more than 3000 year old tombs are vibrantly colorful - it's amazing that the colors don't fade.
