Laboratory Guide (read before you come to Lab 0A, especially the part about peer evaluation).

An example of a pre-lab

Lab 0A Handout

Mathematica Program for plotting data from Lab 0A and Binomial Distribution (only for people who know or who are willing to learn Mathematica and have it running on your machine).  This is a Mathematica notebook file.  Download it to your machine, launch Mathematica, then load this program.  If you just get a screen of text, save it as a file with an .nb extension, then load it into Mathematica.

See my brief page on how to obtain a copy of Mathematica and get it registered.

You can also use any spread sheet program you are familiar with to do this assignment - you don't need to use this program.

Lab 0B Handout  (Note:  A prelab is due for this lab!)

Examples of performing simple error analyses (a PDF document - you need a way for your browser to read this file - either Adobe Acrobat Reader or Ghostview).
