Fly to Craven County Regional Airport in New Bern, NC (EWN), with daily commuter flights by US Air Express via Charlotte, NC.

The next major airport is Raleigh Durham, NC (RDU). Chartered bus service from the parking lot of the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, located near RDU to the conference site, will be offered per demand for $25.00 per person each way. Overnight Accommodations near RDU Airport

The Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center, located 1 exit away from RDU on I-40, is offering the SQM group rate of $95.00 for single or double occupancy for participants needing accommodations near RDU on March 10 and/or 17, 2003. This rate will be honored until February 17, 2003. Please reference "SQM" when making your reservations. This hotel has a courtesy van; however, if demand is high when you arrive, it would be advisable to take a taxi to this property. A cab ride will cost $8.00 - 10.00 one way.

Bus Transportation

Chartered bus transportation can be provided from the parking lot of the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center to the Sheraton Atlantic Beach Oceanfront Hotel on March 11, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and returning on March 17, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. The fee is $25.00 each way. (Expect bus trips to take 4 1/2 hours, which includes one refreshment break, each way.)
Note: Bus transportation will be provided only if you express your desire for this service using the "BUS" button on the Registration page by January 30, 2003. For those participants who request this service: For luggage security while waiting for the bus to leave the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, a Bellman will be stationed in a designated room near the Lobby, to issue claim checks, and secure all luggage until bus boarding.
