Mr. Andres Aragoneses is spending three months visiting our lab and working on dynamics of semiconductor lasers. Mr. Aragoneses is from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Spain.
Joel Greenberg's paper on "Steady-state, cavityless, multi-mode superradiance in a cold vapor" appear recently in Physical Review A. Congratulations Joel!
Joel Greenberg successfully defended his PhD dissertation in May 2012 on the topic of Collective light-matter interactions via emergent order in cold atoms. Congradulations Joel!
Joel Greenberg also continued to work in the group for one month as a post-doc, where he completed a project on large group velocity dispersion via SBS. He has now joined the DISP group in the Duke Electrical Engineering Departemnt. Good luck!

Ms. Nor Ain Hussein spent six months visiting our lab and working on slow light in optical fibers. Ms. Hussein is from the Advanced Photonic Science Institute, Universiti Teknologia Malaysia.
