Please note that you do not have to be majoring in physics to be a member or be involved in SPS activities, you just need to have an interest in physics and why and how the universe is what it is!

• Astronomy Picture of the Day.
• American Journal of Physics, APS publication with emphasis on helping students learn physics and teachers to teach physics.
• Duke Physics Challenges.
• Feynman video lectures, given at Cornell in 1965 to a general (non-technical) audience and written up later in Feynman's book "The Character of Physical Law". Watch especially Lecture 6, "Probability and Uncertainty: The Quantum Mechanical View of Nature", to get a sense of why quantum mechanics is so strange, from someone who understood quantum mechanics really well ( Nobel Prize physicsas well).

• Python download. Eventually, I'll put up code, so if you want to be able to run it, download Python. Also, please download the latest version (at this moment, 3.3.0) which is the version I will be running
• Pygame download. I guess you'll also need Pygame, the GUI I'm using
