Prof. Bray Has Written a Children's Book

Prof. Hubert Bray, Mathematics and Physics, has written a book to get boys and girls interested in math and science. It is also great for adults who enjoy fantasy, science fiction, and high level discussions of some of the greatest ideas ever discovered. Check out "Trevor the Time Traveler and the Murkian Threat" on Facebook here.

This project started out as bedtime stories for Prof. Bray's children. Of course, he had to center them around math and science, but the kids wanted adventure and a fun story, too. He started writing some of them down and, next thing you know, he had written a book! It has a great deal of educational value and Bray is particularly proud of the part where Professor Sparks explains general relativity to Trevor, who is ten. Also, the standard issue weapon issued to each secret agent is called a "homologizer" since it shoots wormholes which change the topology of the spacetime. Bray's son wanted time traveling adventures and his daughter wanted a flying unicorn who can talk, read minds, and grant wishes, etc., so basically this book wrote itself.
