Job description: Two postdoctoral positions are open in the group of Complex Systems and Random Networks to study the structure and function of complex systems. Topics of research will cover dynamics of complex networks, synchronization on networks, transport phenomena and phase transitions in complex networks, social networks, etc.

Skills: The ideal candidate should have experience in statistical physics, and expertise in programming and numerical analysis. Candidates with strong analytical background will be specially considered. Experience working effectively in a team effort. Excellent written skills as demonstrated by publication record.  

Salary:  17940 ÿÿ per annum (no taxes), plus medical insurance within the Portuguese Public Health Care system. A limited budget will also be available for traveling. 

The position is for the duration of 3 years, starting as soon as possible. Possibility of extension for more 3 years.
