CONDENSED MATTER EXPERIMENTAL FACULTY POSITION UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, IRVINE The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track position in condensed matter experimental physics. Candidates working on the discovery and characterization of strongly correlated materials are particularly encouraged to apply. Exceptional candidates in other areas of condensed matter experimental physics are also encouraged to apply. The appointment is at the rank of assistant professor, although exceptional candidates at more senior levels will be considered. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. degree, or the equivalent, and is expected to establish a dynamic research program and participate effectively in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
