Please come and visit the Duke Department of Physics! We have a very exciting program in physics and we would enjoy telling you about it.
On most days, it is possible to schedule a visit with the DGS (Director of Graduate Studies) or with someone else on the Faculty. In the months of March and April, we hold special visits on Thursday afternoons and all day Friday.
You should meet with the DGS Assistant in Room 129 in the
old
Physics Building
(just behind the Chapel through the woods). It is
easy to find us using the
Campus
Map and the Directions to
Campus. Metered parking is usually available in the parking
lot for the Bryan Center which is just across the street from
the Physics Building.
Additional directions to campus and to the physics department specifically can be found on the department's Contacts Page, as well as information about where to stay during your vist.
Please contact the DGS Assistant to schedule a time for this visit and to obtain the visitors' parking passes.
