    PHY 341: Quantum Field Theory I

    Course Description

    Classical field theory, symmetries and conservation laws, representations of the Lorentz Group, canonical quantization, Feynman diagrams and perturbation theory, elementary quantum electrodynamics, radioactive corrections, renormalization.

    Prerequisites

    Physics 211, 212 and 315.
