    PHY 318: Fundamentals of Electromagnetism

    Course Description

    Electrostatics, Laplace's equation, multipole expansion, dielectrics, magnetostatics, magnetization, Maxwell equations, gauge transformations, electromagnetic waves, Fresnel equations, and waveguides.

    Prerequisites

    Physics 182 and 230 or equivalent.
