    PHY 105: Introduction to Astrophysics

    Course Description

    Basic principles of astronomy treated quantitatively. Cosmological models, galaxies, stars, interstellar matter, the solar system, and experimental techniques and results.

    Prerequisites

    Mathematics 31 and Physics 42L, 52L, 54L or consent of instructor.
